Arrival:
Buses will leave at 15.30
and 21.30 from Železna cesta - look at the map. Price of bus transfer will
be 14 EUR for one direction.
Special bus transfer will be
organised on arrival day (16.4.2009). We will organise 2 buses per day and
they will all leave from Ljubljana, Železna cesta. This station is just
behind the railway station where you can also leave your laguage in the lockers
and visit
Ljubljana city
centre before departure for Otočec. Departure time
will be announced later, when arrival times of participants will be
collected. All you need to do on arrival day is to come to Ljubljana city
centre and look for Železna cesta - see map below. Those arriving by plane, look
at "By plane", if you arrive by train - step out in Ljubljana
central station and look for Železna cesta.

By plane:
Airport
Jože Pučnik, Brnik (SLO)
From the airport take a bus to
Ljubljana (see
Markun transfer). Markun offers a fast and reliable transfer at a modest
price. The ticket can be bought from the bus driver (price approx. 5
EURO/person). You can also take a taxi (approx. 45-60 EURO). For the

Airport Zagreb (CRO)
From airport Zagreb take a bus to main bus station in the centre of Zagreb, it leaves every
30 minutes. From that point on it will be very hard to reach Otočec - there
is no bus connection; you can take train (see
train timetable), but you need to go to Ljubljana
first and than take a bus. You are more or less on your own.
By bus:
Go to Ljubljana central bus station and take a bus Ljubljana - Brezice, step down on Otochec. Check timetable at Ljubljana central bus station
By car:
Follow
the motorway A2 direction Zagreb (CRO). We suggest that you check Via Michelin and enter Otocec, Slovenia
By train:
It
is difficult to go by train to Otocec, therefore we suggest you to take
a train to Ljubljana central railway station and then take a bus - see
By bus.
